Sphalerite crystals from this deposit are characterized by being very
bright and perfect, giving a unique effect in contrast with the white dolomite
matrix. The crystals are usually pale yellow (although if they have a small manganese
content they’re black), translucent and very rich in faces. The most typical
habitus is the twinned tetrahedron. It’s usually associated with sulfosalts
as jordanite.
